This course provides general training in the purpose and function of an energy control program for understanding, knowledge, and skills required for safe application, usage, and removal of energy controls by employees. This training is required at the time of a worker's initial assignment, and whenever a new job assignment, change in machine/equipment, or processes present a new hazard. Topics include:
